Aromatherapy can be very useful for preventing and relieving the symptoms of cold and flu, I swear by it and heal myself only with essential oils. Prevention is key so as soon as you feel your throat itchy or have the first signs of a cold, use essential oils. Wild Oregon grape root for example is great to be taken internally when you feel the first symptom of a cold or flu. It boosts your immune system.
This natural spray is perfect to spray in your room, your body and clothes when you are sick. You can also add this essential oils blend to your aromatherapy diffuser without the floral water. You could also substitute the floral water with almond or jojoba oil and use it as massage oil on your body. Don’t forget to massage your feet with it in the morning and before going to bed. It works wonders for me when I have a cough. Use care when taking essential oils, follow directions and ask advice to your health care professional or aroma therapist.
