    Shipment arrived a day early, properly but not excessively packaged. The EO is very fragrant; the consistency is correct for cardamom EO--an excellent transaction.

    My personal opinion of cardamom EO, which did not effect my overall score because it's just my opinion, and yours may differ: I was actually rather disappointed with cardamon EO. Cardamom has a complex flavor/smell as a seasoning, and naturally I'd hope that would translate, but as an EO it's much more strongly herbal, and that overwhelms the other dimensions. To my surprise, it even has a obvious camphor-like overtone, which makes the smell extrememly preminiscent of other EOs; that is really why I was disappointed. The problem is not so much that I dislike the aroma as it is that it's too similar to other EOs I already own. Its similar to yarrow, if youre familiar with that, if not, imagine a light eucalyptus scent but earthier, with a basil or anise underetone. Again, objectively I like, it but I had hoped it would be more distinct.

    I love cardamom in culinary use, but before now I could only really achieve a houseful of this fragrance which I crave by baking bread or sweets with large amounts of freshly ground green cardamom. With this powerful oil my whole home can smell strongly of cardamom 24/7 (even when I'm not baking) until some unlikely indeterminate point in the future where I may have had enough. I used the oil today (in an aroma therapy diffuser of course, not for eating) for the first time and it is alluring and delicious, I'm ordering more now!

    I love the smell of cardamom!m so I was excited to get this! It didn't quite smell like the cardamom oils of gotten in the past from other retailers so I was a little disappointed. This one was the least expensive so that could always be the reason. I'm hoping it will mix well with the veitver oil I purchased.

    Update 4/5/2016: I heard from the company and they sent me a new cardamom oil. The smell was exactly what I was expecting! I think I must have gotten a bad batch, which happens. Customer service actually contacted me! My new oil is wonderful and I love it! Thank you Healing Solutions for a great product and service.

    As another reviewer noted, it's not as aromatic / fragrant as I expected. Fragrance wears off fast, too.
    I will order from a different company next time. There are several reputable ones that won't let me down. They're a bit pricier though. That's why I tried this one. I'm not sure it's 100% - I think it's cut with a carrier oil, hence the weaker scent.
    For the record, I've been collecting and using essential oils for over 2 decades. I have over 4 dozen different oils. I am a huge fan of essential oils.
    I know quality when I smell it.
    The viscosity of this oil was also different than most cardamom oil I've seen. Thicker. It's supposed to be lighter.
    Won't purchase again from this company. Three stars because it smells nice even though it's weaker than expected. Cardamom always smells nice and uplifting. One of my favorite scents.
