In reply to Angela. I use coconut oil in my facial products and have not had a problem with acne or clogging. Everyone is different though so as with a lot of products it may be something you have to figure out on your own.

I would not use plastic jars as they have chemicals in them that over time could damage your product
Glass is the way to go.

It’s a Beautiful recipe. Easy to make. But I don’t just want coconut/vanilla scented butters as Am all about that beach smell you would get from IKG BEACH Hair volumizer or Very Sexy Sea perfume OR Victoria Secret Pink coco coco body spray. What essential oil notes would you recommend to get something close to a beach scent???? ThankYou,

Such a great easy recipe I can’t wait to make it. From my experience with other recipes using the same ingredients I tend to notice that the cream hardens when it sets even if I whip it. What can I add to make it soft ?

I really need help trying to achieve the ” marine”, “sea” , Beach scent as there are several notes that go into that. I bought what I could find after doing some research as Eternal essence Essential oils & others DO NOT carry those “real sea notes” & can I also as Argon oil to the recipe as it absorbs quickly not leaving that greasiness to the whipped mango body butter? I know arrowroot does that as well, but argon oil is wonderful for the skin. Please help!?

Hi Eve!! Thank You for posting this Beautiful recipe!! I bought all the ingredients & everything is printed out. I have one question. I have done a LOT of homework my self & want to give it a sea/ beachy scent. I’ve purchased all of the oils that can do that giving it a ” marine”, “Burnt sand”, ” aqua water”, Bernoulli “, & “cedar wood” scent as most of my products including candles revolves around The Beachy Theme that I love so much & am inspired by My BESTFRIEND, MY BEAUTIFUL MOTHER CYNDI who passed away too soon & could & can’t cope w/ her recent passing. I believe she put all of this in my lap from Heaven above watching me Literally die of a broken heart. All my pain, sadness and energy goes into what I do as I am a very creative person. In your opinion, what is the best EO’S to create that smell that I’m TRYING to create. Much Love! Deborah
