Hi Eve, thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge and recipes (this is a fantastic serum!). I really appreciate the care you put into your blog! I do have one question that may seem obvious, but I would really appreciate some clarification.

How do you calculate the number of drops of diluted essential oils when making recipes? For example, I have diluted Helichrysum. If it is a 10% blend, would you put 10 times the number of drops in your recipe (i.e. 20 drops instead of 2?) This makes sense mathematically, but are there other factors I’m unaware of?

I don’t want to overdo it! Especially because I am also planning to make a 0.5% eye serum, which requires only 1 drop of pure EO per 10ml roller. So if my recipe calls for 1 drop of pure Rose Otto, would you put 10 drops of 10% Rose Otto instead?

Just so you know, the “Serving” slider is not working…probably because you made most ingredients listed a hyperlink. I noticed that the two essential oils that you did NOT make a hyperlink for do increase/decrease with the slider but none of the other ingredients do. Too bad, because I wanted to make a bigger batch.

I have nasty outbreaks of rosecea as well as melanoma around my hairline will any of these essential oils irritate the melanoma? I use a mixture of frankencense, lavender in a carrier oil on my rosecea and it does seem to help with the flareup.

Thank you for sharing your recipe for this anti-aging face serum! I’ve been using it for a while now and on my 3rd batch. The only ingredient I don’t have is the Sandalwood, but it’s lovely just the same. I will be ordering a copy of your book!!
