How to make coconut lip balm with beeswax in 5 minutes
In this all natural lip balm recipe with beeswax I am using castor oil is obtained by pressing the seeds of the Castor plant and is made of 95% ricinoleic acid which is an omega-9 fatty acid and help moisturising the skin. I like using it in lip balms for extra shine.
Coconut oil is one of my all-time favourite carrier oil for lip balms; it is an effective moisturiser and helps healing chapped lips.
Make sure you use organic virgin and non-refined coconut oil to have all the nutrients and delicious coconut scent! Beeswax is needed here to harden the lip balm but you could also use carnauba wax which is a vegan alternative.

Thank you so much for sharing! I am definitely making this one.
Hi Eve!
Thank you so much for your recipe. I really love it. I made about 12 lip balms and I had a question for you. Not all the lip balms smell the same. Some smell like lavender oil more than others (I used lavender essential oil instead of peppermint just because it is my favorite.) Do you know why that happened?
Thank you so much for the help! I really love making them :)
