Can I use a lipgloss tube Instead of a lipstick tube for this ? I’m trying to start a business and deliver it around the country . The temperature is quite high here and I fear that it would melt out of the stick before reaching the destination

I tried it non vegan way and it worked. 🙂 I used the same amount of beeswax to substitute the waxes Eve has used. I used grapeseed oil instead of camelia one, it is a cheaper option. I just saw a video last week how most of the micas available on the market are sourced unethically, by poor children in India. They risk their lives in mica mines, many of them died..It is very sad ☹ For this recipe therefore I ordered ethically sourced mica, it is a bit more expensive, but even the tiniest pot will be enough for many lipsticks
My lipstick came out perfect, it unmolded ok, only think that worries me are lines on the surface (on the sides) of my lipstick. Anybody any ideas on how can I prevent these?
Thank you for your recipe Eve! For people who don’t have an access to rice bran or other waxes and want to stay vegan I would say to use carnauba wax and maybe experiment with it’s ratio together with castor oil + other oils and butters.
