Bad hair day? Don’t despair! Here are my top 3 oils for hair conditioning. There are many benefits in using carrier oils as part of your daily natural hair care routine. You can either do a once a week as a deep treatment by leaving the oil for one hour or better overnight before washing the next day. You can also use the carrier oil of your choice after shampooing by massaging your wet hair with a small amount as a leave in conditioner.
A teaspoon of the oil for long hair or less for shorter hair will do the trick! Remember, for extra shine and not to damage your hair, it’s always better to let your hair dry naturally instead of using the hair drier but well…unfortunately, we don’t all live in the Caribbean, do we?!?
Avocado Oil is full of vitamins ( A, B1, B2, D, E, and Beta carotene) and also contains amino acids, sterols, pantothenic acid, lecithin, and other essential fatty acids. Avocado oil works great for dry, rough and brittle hair as a deep conditioning. Oh and did you know it is also a natural sunscreen (SFP 4 to 15 depending on the oil quality)?
This Moroccan is rich in omega 3 and 9 fatty acids, it is also perfect for rough and dry hair. I love how it tames my frizz
Another favourite of mine as it leaves my hair smooth and shiny. It is great for all hair, even fine hair as it does not leave a greasy film and absorbs quite rapidly. It is one of the best kept secrets in the cosmetic and hair care industry, try for yourself!
You can buy organic avocado oil, argan oil and camelia seed carrier oils here.

Hi Eve, my hair is very dry, so these products look rich and hydrating. How do I use them? Is it simply a matter of smoothing on to the hair? Can I add a perfume to these oils, something natural like lavender, to mask the smell of the avocado oil?
HI Rewa, yes simply add a small pea size on your hands and apply it to your hair. You could defenitely add a few drops of essential oils like lavender.
Pls is there a way I can make dis oil myself? Because finding it in its pure state might really be difficult or even more extensive? Thanks
making carrier oil by yourself like avocado oil requires heavy machinery who would be expensive, its best to buy online to save money. Links above in the blog.
