Why use essential oil in a diffuser?

Studies have shown that inhalation is the safest way of administering essential oils. It’s safer than applying diluted oils directly onto your skin.

What type of essential oil diffuser?

The four types of diffusers are:

Nebulizing: Although costly, these provide optimal therapeutic benefits as oil is released as a fine mist.

Ultrasonic: These create and disperse a fine mist of oil and water, and hence act as a humidifier too.

Heat: These use heat to cause a stronger aroma, but can change the properties of oil at the molecular level.

Evaporative: These use windblown diffusion to quickly spread the oil’s aroma.

Which essential oil diffuser to use?

My personal favorite is this one. It’s stylish, discreet and comes with a starter kit of essential oils. And let’s be honest, it’s a great price too!

My second choice is this ceramic essential oil diffuser.

Tip

Avoid the heated essential oil diffuser as it can alter the good properties of the essential oils.
