Rose Melt and Pour Soap Recipes

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Glycerin melt and pour organic soap base
  • a double boiler or an pyrex bowl placed into a pan of water
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa butter
  • 20 rosewood essential oil
  • 10 rose geranium essential oil
  • 10 patchouli essential oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pink Oxyde

Method
 

  1. How to make rose soap with a melt and pour base:
  2. Cut the melt and pour soap base into small cubes so they melt faster.

  3. Add them to your double boiler on low to medium heat (basically an aluminum or pyrex recipient in a pan filled with warm water)
  4. Add the cocoa butter.
  5. Continue steering until the soap base is melted.
  6. Once melted, remove from the heat.
  7. Add the pink oxide, mix well. Use a hand mixer if there are clumps so the powder dissolves completely into the soap. If you use too much of pink oxyde, the color may turn to purple so watch out!

  8. Add essential oils if desired, mix well.
  9. Pour in the silicone mold.
  10. Spray pure alcohol on top of the soap to get rid of the bubbles if any.
  11. Let dry and cool down for 24h hours before un-molding. Voila, its ready to use!
